Review on 8-Stage Faucet Water Filter - PURIFY by Brandon Plowden

This is my experience with this product and as in other reviews you can see that people have had great experiences with it and I hope they have unfortunately not with me. I bought this product twice because I thought it was a good product and after my first try it deserved a second chance. My first attempt with this product was entirely my fault so let me be clear I overtightened the filter cap and once the vacuum seal happened I couldn't take it apart no matter how hard I tried to clean it. Disappointed but not defeated, I decided to give this product another chance, I ordered the product again, this time following the instructions in the email. It worked great for a while, had a few issues removing the lid but that was just due to heavy use. The problem the second time around was that after a recent cleaning I put the filter element back on and it was leaking from every conceivable point as I turned it over to filter the water. I checked the manual and realized it could be a build up of limescale and other substances and all I had to do was take it off and leave it in a vinegar and water mixture, which I thought was fine. Here the last problem happened, all my life I could not remove the adapter nozzle from my sink. No matter what I tried, it didn't spin at all. When I put this on I made sure nothing was too tight, I learned that lesson the hard way. I loosened and tightened everything a few times to make sure I got it off. Although I now had to call maintenance at my building to have this adapter removed. All in all I'm happy to see that people have had a good experience, but for me it's been nothing short of disappointment after disappointment and I hope nobody has to go through what I did.
