Review on 🔪 KNIPEX Carpenters' End Cutting Pliers (5001210): Efficient Tool for Precision Cutting by Dan Cramer

We just had our pool pavilion's roof re-roofed. The roofer forgot to tell me that the roofing nails would be long, pierced and visible on the finished inside of the underside of the roof, which I painted white to reflect the lighting I was installing. There must now be 80 nails sticking out and it looks awful. I researched this at Revain and was looking for a tool that was high quality and could cut nails flush with the room's plywood floor. They seemed perfect and from a good tool company. You can't even cut a nail. They're nail clippers and I haven't noticed any phrases that say "Oh, but no roofing nails". So my plan is to return them in exchange for compact Knipex bolt cutters which I HOPE can cut these nails and make them flush enough for me to repaint the underside of our arbor. I think they are for standard finishing nails.
