The price seemed too cheap to be true, and it was - after 3 months the glasses already have the infamous film of moisture between the layers. I have glasses from Tervis.com that are over 5 years old and just starting to get the same film. I filled out the lifetime warranty form on the Tervis website to find out they are not covered. Basically, you can tell the authenticity of a Tervis glass by the fact that "Lifetime Guarantee" is engraved on the underside below the engraving "Made in America". Tervis only guarantees glasses that carry this seal of authenticity. The glasses I received from this seller do not include this tongue on the bottom; In addition, it doesn't even say "Made in America", but "Made in USA". Tervis.com calls these glasses "Outlet" and clearly lists them in the "What's Not Covered" section. Not sure if that means "outlet glasses" are sold in Tervis outlet stores or something like that, but after all these aren't the glasses you get directly from Tervis, nor do they drop under the lifetime guarantee. This is very deceptive as the lifetime guarantee is an important part of their value proposition and helps justify the high price tag.
