Review on 🔎 Zircon MultiScanner 740 Electronic Wall Scanner with Erasable Wall Marker, Built-In - (72306) by Bobby Martinez

I bought this product 3 weeks ago and have been using it several times a week since. My partner and I just moved into a house and I've installed a lot of shelves/hooks/shelves etc and this tool has come in very handy for making sure I'm putting things where I want them. I was happy with 5 stars until today when the 'tag' feature started not working properly. Manufacturers have cleverly designed their scanner to include a small piece of pencil lead that leaves a small mark on the wall when you press the appropriate button. They even thought of putting 3 refills under the battery - very smart design! This is really a minimal aspect of how the scanner works and is VERY handy when it works, but very frustrating when it doesn't. I was expecting to be able to rely on this thing's ability to make a pencil mark for $70 when I hit the mark button. I didn't drop this thing, I handled it gently and took good care of it, so it's disappointing.
