Poorly designed ball detent
These are well machined parts. However, the notch designed to hold the bit in place in ball lock tools is too far from the tip to work. They are not pinned in any of the 6 tools I use with this feature. Even if the instrument has a magnetic holding function, the tips will cause the bit to vibrate. These beats were very poorly designed. Contact Irwin for properly designed reversible bits.
