The teeth on this opener are too fine to grip corks properly. The first bottle I used it on was difficult to get out. The second bottle had a tighter cork and couldn't handle it at all. I have had the AhSo style for 30 years, which I bought from the Mondavi winery. It had thicker, stronger teeth and never had trouble pulling the cork. Unfortunately, after all these years, it finally broke. I thought one style of AhSo was similar to the other, but I was wrong. Tooth strength matters. Would not recommend this particular model.
