Weak Magnet - Thermometers and Timers

Bought for a universal kitchen timer. Nice piece and the red matches my kitchen decor. Good thing it doesn't need batteries so it'll still work if the economy collapses. I wish it had a non-linear scale. If I want to measure 30 seconds, there is no good choice between 0 and 1. If 0 to 60 seconds was the same angle as 1 to 60 minutes and 1 hour to 10 was the same angle, it would be much more useful. The magnet is strong enough to hold it to the side of my fridge, but not so strong that the whole thing doesn't warp while you're trying to install it. You need to push inward when turning to keep it from turning by hand if the magnet slips off. Strong magnets are cheap these days and the designers of such things should be forced to use them themselves. "Just like Fauci, you will have to endure what he finances with animals and inflicts on you and your children. Stick his head in a box full of sand fleas, inject acid into his brain like he funded the monkeys, and give him all the experimental chemicals he sponsored. Somewhere in his family tree there is a Mengele.
