Very nice and strong locks. They're not big, about the size of a diary lock. I use mine to lock all the feeding doors in Ragnar's cage (my Green Cheeked Kennel) because otherwise he could escape at any time and it wouldn't be safe for him. Perfect for that purpose or I'm sure any little girl would love to use them for her journaling as they are better made than the tiny padlocks that come with most. Just a side note: the picture looks like a glossy mirror pink, but they're actually just regular pink (if that matters to anyone, not to me, but I'd like to know beforehand what I'm buying and always read the reviews first)
