These are good bright flashlights with decent battery life but they have one major downside that stops them from being great - the lack of "backup" by accidental activation. You turn on the light by pressing part of the lens, and it doesn't take much pressure. This is a big problem if you're keeping them in your backpack for later use - they can accidentally turn on in your pocket and die when you need to use them, which is obviously a big safety concern. I really like how small and light they are and appreciate that the rear end has a rake on the side where it meets the seatpost that counteracts the angle of the seatpost to keep the light level with the ground. Nice design touch. They also feel solid in your hands. Version 2 of these lights would be 5 stars if they just added a 'safety' switch. Also, after a few months of use, the rubber band on one of the lamps broke. Cycle Torch, if you're reading this send me another one!
