I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.
I chose a case for horizontal placement to build an HTPC for a home cinema, so I looked exclusively with left-sided glass. Initially, I thought about taking cases in the style of Silverstone Grandia GD09, but it is problematic to place powerful video cards in it, and their price tag is almost twice as high, so I settled on the version from AeroCool. I moved the legs to the bottom, put them on their side and voila - HTPC with horizontal placement. For good, you need to change the coolers and there will be an ideal case for assembling a home theater where you can shove any card.
