These are the simplest dowels you can use. Nothing but a Phillips screwdriver to install the anchor and install the screw. You seem to be heading pretty much towards your target when you align the tip. If you ever decide to remove them, that's easy too, and they can be reused. I've used probably 20-30 of these and no problem. Sure, they're not the strongest wall anchors you can get, but I think they're a step up from the typical plastic "expansion" inserts that come with most things, and they don't need to be pre-drilled ! 100 of them should stay with me for a long time.
