You shouldn't expect an air purifier of this size to work effectively in large rooms, but it doesn't produce any real airflow at all unless you run it at maximum power. With this setting you hear it (it's not annoying, but you can hear it) and of course the battery doesn't last long at high power if you use it on battery power. The Low/Med settings are useless even in a small space like a car. The design is nice and the use of pad oils is a good thing - and I'd give it a much higher rating if the airflow was better at lower settings. Anyway, expect results with only one setting (high).
