So I ordered it almost a year ago today (Jan 6th 2017). I have an old english sheepdog. When I ordered this leash she was 5 months old now of course she is 17 months old and weighs about 83 pounds. We used this leash almost every day when walking/running in the park. So far it has held up very well. However, I was concerned when I received the leash as the leash clip turned out not to be as strong as I had hoped. It was executed flawlessly though, and I'm a very nervous Fellmon! As the line clip continued to hold him, the little notch that we humans move down to open the retractable portion of the clip broke. I have no idea how this happened, but in order to let her off the leash I have to "cut" the leash with a "mercy". This thing still works, but I don't feel comfortable using it anymore because I know it's in charge of caring for my beloved dog. But I mean it's very cheap and we actually used it all year round! So use our experience as you see fit and buy (or not) accordingly. This was the first time I've used a leash for so long and for what it's worth I loved it until it broke. I will buy a more expensive nylon - almost $30! (Note that this cotton can cause very uncomfortable skin burns) here on Revain. I'll check those out as well, updating this review and cross-referencing the two. Note: The fishing line in the snow comes from this line.
