Review on πŸ’‘ CRLight Dimmable LED Incandescent Equivalent Filament Bulb by Paul Andrews

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you hate the amber glow from your Edison bulb, read my review!

Ever since I invested in Edison bulb lighting my only problems have been with bulbs. The bulbs my lights came with were so dull and amber that after spending several hours installing the lights I felt like taking them apart and returning them. The lighting in the store example definitely didn't look like it did in my house. I spent $120 finding the perfect lightbulbs. I realized that 60 watts with open incandescent bulbs is blinding. So I reduced it to 40 watts. I went through three temperatures before I found that 2700K was similar to the light from my lamp. I could get away with 3000k, but anything above that is the unnatural blue light of an operating room. When I decided that 40W 2700K was my way, I couldn't find a single bulb shaped like an Edison. So I had round bulbs that looked ridiculous and the fact that they cost $8 for ONE bulb. I was so scared of lightbulbs that I couldn't sleep and spent hours reading Amazon lightbulb reviews before finally deciding on them. I love her. They are perfect and affordable! What I noticed about the dimmer is that there is a slight flicker in low light, but not that much flicker, just a slight wave from lighter to darker. I agree because it's subtle.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
