Bad product

First let me say that I'm not a newbie to tie dyeing. My last project involved just over 80 children between the ages of 4 and 12. So I've used a lot of tie-dye kits in the past. PROS: The box the set came in was very pretty, not Rubbermaid quality but I would use it again for something. There was enough color for 6 shirts. TWO 3XL, THREE XL AND ONE SMALL. CONS: The paint bottles had gunpowder stuck in the screw cap, so it was a mess from the start. The bottles weren't color coded either, so we had to put a paper towel under each bottle and let a few drops drip. Dark colors dominated and only a few light ones. After adding water and screwing the caps back on, I noticed that they all leak under the screw part. The tabletop is so thin that we tore it while plucking and tying the shirts with a rubber band. The gloves provided were more of a nuisance than helpful as they kept slipping and slipping. After leaving them in plastic bags overnight I rinsed them in cold water and was very pleased to see how vivid the colors came out. I then put them in the washing machine for a cold wash/cold rinse and used my regular Gain detergent. After taking them out of the washing machine I was so sad to see that we had lost all that brightness. Completely disappointed. The instructions were ok but only showed one design option - we googled most of our designs/methods. In conclusion, I have to say that I don't feel that this is a good product.
