As the name suggests, THIS IS NOT A NAIL PULLER! The description says it has a nail pulling function BUT there isn't a function with enough geometry to actually grab the nail. That is, unless it's half hammered into what you're nailing. I was a little hesitant when ordering this because I'm renovating and don't build fences for livestock. It says it's the nail puller and staple remover I use. MAYBE NAILS AND STAPS. no ordinary construction nails and staples. I got this because I keep putting down one tool to get another to do a slightly different job on the same nail/staple etc. A multi-tool sounded like a reasonable solution. Not here. It also arrived very dirty. It's a small thing, but I don't want to grease the whole house. It's okay if you work because you clean up afterwards. just not before starting work.
