I think it's great that it doesn't have a neck tag. It's easy to distinguish the front and back by the light blue slanting trim that covers the back seam of the neck. It also prevents an open seam that can chafe on baby's neck and make it uncomfortable to wear. I ordered a 5t for my almost 5 year old and it fits but there isn't much room to grow. I could probably order a size up with no problem. Although he can probably wear it for a year. I can also wear it under big short sleeve shirts for a layered look. Would order more from this company.
