If I need something important in the kitchen, I usually use Norpro, they are cheaper than Zyliss, feel better in the hand and don't have the annoying rubberiness of Oxo. They also offer a comprehensive set of tools, so it's easy to have some kind of kit that fits my specific OCD. This knife is a great example, it's durable, sharp, cheap and works well. If you want a better knife than you can get at the grocery store and don't want to give up ceramic, this is a great option.
