Great. After 55 years in the hobby I don't like many products. This float valve has taken my sump to a whole new level. Now I can keep the water level within 1/8 inch and only have to add water to the tank that feeds the sump every 6 weeks. I used to have to deal with topping up water every 3-4 days and was always afraid that I'd forget to fill the pan and the system would fail. In my opinion, the design and workmanship are of very high quality. It requires some technical know-how, and I'm the "master". Be sure to put teflon tape on the water pressure threads and install unhindered in your own corner of the hot tub and handle with care. The entire float mechanism is above the water, so there is extremely little chance of a snail or debris interfering with operation. Other float valve options are much more expensive and sometimes require a pump, controls and electronics to function, which are significant causes of breakdowns and water flooding. Possibly the best addition to my aquarium tech base since LED lighting.
