Review on Navigate with Confidence: 🧭 Magellan Triton 300 Waterproof Hiking GPS by Bill Gomez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

No maps, no software, no support.

The list of features looks great, but . too many spaces to be really useful (yet?). All adverts advertise the ability to download large detailed maps, but there are actually no current maps and Magellan support says "no information" about possible availability dates. The base map in the squad is very bad and the squad is really of little use until they release their program maps. Based on previous experience with them, the DVD will no doubt cost at least another $100. Also, none of the previous cards you may have are compatible; For me it's a bad move for the supplier to give up any investment in their previous products - they should at least offer a conversion program. very expensive! NG only sells them by region and they sell 9 maps for $99 each and that only covers 21 states. The software from their website and the CD in the package contains 2 out of 3 programs (Maplink versions) that only support serial connections. Connect to GPS but the device is USB so nothing works. your ones. the support person was completely disinterested in this information. I will return it and buy a Garmin 60csx. Too bad, I believed the ad and waited for it! I have already contacted some other sales sites and they will update their offers!
