Review on UnderCover SwingCase Truck Bed Storage Box SC206D for 2019-2020 Ford Ranger - Driver's Side by Rob Madden

I bought this box to store all my tie downs and hitch accessories, it seemed like the perfect solution. The design seems decent enough, there was the necessary equipment for installation. The latch mount had to be mounted behind the bed pad, which was sensible enough. I saw another user post that he just had to cut a small hole to allow the latch to stick out. So, after I've cut a 2 x 3 hole in my washer to attach the latch bracket and get the washer in place, it's time to install the hinge. Easy enough I had to drill 2 holes for the screws. installed the loop, good job. hung the box on the hinge and tried to turn it to the locked position but it doesn't work. The entire corner of the bed base needs to be cut out to allow the drawer to rotate to the locked position. now i'm annoyed if i cut out the whole corner of the sheet you lose the purpose of mounting it. Some photos on the site show a box fitted to trucks that appear to have bed liners so I took a chance. Now I have a box that is unusable as intended and a hole in my $300 sheet. I also can't find an option in my order or on this page to contact the seller for help/solution. I cannot stress this enough, if you have factory bed pads, do not purchase this product.
