I expected this to be a lot cheaper made based on the purchase price. It is plastic, but pretty robust. I've given it a fair bit of use now and really like it. Great for setting blade angles on the table saw and fence angles on the jointer. For a quick check on your other tools it works just fine too. I actually found an issue with my miter saw fence with this, that I've since been able to correct. I'm optimistic this is going to last the distance at this point.
