Review on 🔌 Gates 20953 Hose" - "Gates 20953 Engine Hose by John Stefko

Had to replace the radiator and thought it would be nice to swap out the radiator hoses. This upper hose does not fit my 2003 Forester XT. I tried cutting both ends and it came out close but when I compared the fit to the top hose I removed it wasn't as good as the old one as the new hose flexed a bit when installed. The old upper hose is 3 years old, bought from Subaru, fits perfectly and is in very good condition so I reused it. I didn't want to return this hose as I cut it off. Some reviewers have claimed that if both ends are carefully trimmed, they fit well. So if I wasn't careful enough I gave this product two stars instead of one.
