Review on Xiaomi Mijia M365 Pro electric scooter, up to 100 kg, black by Stanislaw Kisiel ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

I took the European version (I still don’t really understand what is the difference from the Chinese one) a month and a half ago. I work remotely, so the scooter is mainly used for walking and driving to shops. A nice thing, in Hong Kong, public transport will not completely replace, but as a kind of addition, it will do just fine. Where it was necessary to pass several stops on a conditional bus, it can be safely used as an alternative. For information, my weight is about 105 kg. First of all, after the purchase, do not be too lazy to take a pump with a pressure gauge and pump up the wheels to the required pressure (you can check the table mentioned here earlier). This will help you go longer without repairs. And stock up on several cameras from Alik, just in case - in case of a puncture, the service will charge you not only for the camera (moreover, twice as expensive), but also for "tire fitting". I was too lazy to immediately pump up the wheels, and as a result, I had to go to change the rear camera after 50 km. Of the modifications after the purchase, I only strengthened the controller tracks (they say they burn on proshki). Otherwise, everything is stock, although they don’t offer anything on the Internet - from replacing bearings to complete sealing and installing enlarged tires. Whether you need it, decide for yourself, depending on the tasks of your electric scooter.

Pros
  • - Quite compact, allows you to move freely with him in the subway and public transport. There are no problems with the passage to shops and shopping centers; - With my weight of 105 kg, the mileage on a single charge will be around 22-25 km, of course, this is with ups and downs. I would like more, but for walking around the city this is quite enough; - Unlike a bicycle, it allows you not to pick up clothes and not to take a shift with you, for example, when traveling to work. Still, it’s convenient, I drove, folded the scooter and is ready for work (I rode a bicycle for two years to work, I had to wash almost waist-deep in the office toilet);
Cons
  • The cons are more general for the use of electric scooters than for this particular model. I can’t find fault with something in Xiaomi yet, let’s see what happens next. And so, in general: - Very dependent on weather conditions - riding in the rain / puddles is not recommended, you can ruin expensive electrics and the scooter engine; - It is sensitive to the quality of the coating (asphalt), and if in the center and new areas the asphalt is more or less even, then somewhere in relatively old sleeping bags it may not have a living place from cracks and holes. Accelerating (or maybe just driving) in such places is simply dangerous; - Unfortunately, the bike paths are not as perfect as they seem from the bike. Even in the center. Be attentive, especially to the drain grates - I have not seen a single flat one; - Riding on the sidewalk is not always convenient due to the number of people, and it’s scary on the edge of the road on such a crumb (and the “drivers” are buzzing) - it’s much easier with a bicycle (at least I’m already used to driving on roads).
