Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Enhance Your Cycling Experience with the CAT EYE Velo 9 Wired Bike Computer by Kenny Marozas

Great basic bike computer for exercise bikes

I bought a Cat Eye Velo 9 bike computer to use on a bike. This, along with the ELECFIND magnets (disk: 10 x 3mm) replacing the one that came with the Velo 9, has performed exceptionally well. Everything needed for installation is included. Including bike computer, bracket, wire sensor, battery, wheel bolt magnet, cable ties and instructions. The Velo 9 has a wired sensor which I chose to minimize the batteries. The speed sensor does not require a separate/additional battery, it uses a common battery in the computer. The wire is long enough to stay out of the way of the rider while still allowing for handlebar adjustment for multiple riders. It doesn't track cadence. So if you need to track your cadence, the Velo 9 isn't for you. The stationary bike is in a well-lit basement gym, and the display is big enough to read with ease. Switching between functions on the display is easy, one button to scroll. Clearing/resetting time/distance is also easy, just press and hold the same button. This is a simple bike computer, time, odometer, trip meter, elapsed time, calories, speed, average speed, top speed and pace arrow. This is a good bike computer for beginners.
