One piece of advice I would give is to make sure you are very happy with the zip ties before tightening them down. Very happy with the Velo 9 purchase. Large easy to read display. Easy setup thanks to flowchart instructions. I put this on a Trek 29er and used the bike computer app to compare the readings. Speed and distance were within 0.01 miles of each other in 1 mile, which is accurate enough for my needs. I bought a Cat Eye Velo 9 bike computer to use on a bike. This, along with the ELECFIND magnets (disk: 10 x 3mm) replacing the one that came with the Velo 9, has performed exceptionally well. I bought this for use with a stationary bike as it's obviously hard to tell how 'far' I'm going so is my main concern is the time and the odometer. not speed, calories burned or whatever. Since I'm using it with a trainer, I have the sensor on the rear wheel, not the front wheel. The cable isn't long enough to get to the handlebars but long enough to put it on the top tube where I can look down and see it (I wouldn't recommend this if you're using it outside on the bike, but I'm not very afraid

UPDATE 08/15/2020: To read your cadence directly, set the wheel circumference to 166 cm. Magnets are only needed on one spoke of the sprocket. 8.6 km/h on the display corresponds to 86 rpm.
