Review on 🚲 Enhance Your Cycling Experience with the CAT EYE Velo 9 Wired Bike Computer by Warren Hess

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable good price

Very happy with the Velo 9 purchase. Large easy to read display. Easy setup thanks to flowchart instructions. I put this on a Trek 29er and used the bike computer app to compare the readings. Speed and distance were within 0.01 miles of each other in 1 mile, which is accurate enough for my needs. The kit included a lot of small zip ties, especially when you wrap the cable around the brake cable. Installing the magnet was easy, but it took a little while to get it in the right place. I used double sided tape to attach the receiver to the connector. This allowed me to take it off a couple of times to line it up with the magnet once I found the best position for the two components. The tape will hold it in place until you can close it. The device goes into "sleep" mode when not in use. This means that it always shows the time, which is the minimum battery consumption. As soon as you start rolling or the magnet passes the receiver. it wakes up. The recessed main reset button is on the back, so you won't lose all your accumulated data if you don't press it. To reset your ride data, all you have to do is press the main button on the front for about 4 seconds and it will clear itself.
