Read this review! for cream and sugar

I've had these tins for 10 months now. Judging by the photo, I have 2 sets. They are beautifully elegant and I get many compliments on them. For the largest side, I used it to hold my wooden spoons and whisk. I will consider some complaints from others. First of all, yes, they don't fit in a 5lb sack of flour or a 4lb sack of sugar, so if you need it for that purpose, don't buy them and then give them a bad review. I knew that after reading all the reviews before buying. I don't bake much so I put flour in the freezer. I use them to ensure a 2 lb bag of organic sugar fits perfectly in the smallest and my herbal tea in the second smallest. One is medium with popcorn and the other with currants. The big one is holding oatmeal. I wanted it to be for things I use more often, so it worked great for me. Someone mentioned that sugar is rock hard. There are two reasons for this. Or they didn't let the canister dry for a good day on the first wash with a lid and ring. Everything must be completely dry. When moisture is present, they harden the sugar. Another thing is that someone could put a wet spoon in the canister. I know this from over 40 years of using ceramic canisters (I've learned over the years). The hole on the largest canister is small, but I just found a smaller measuring cup that fits. The glaze and color on both of my sets were perfect, no issues. The reason I give it 4 stars is that some of the rings are not as tight as they should be as others have pointed out. I have two that should be closer. I soaked them (the rings) in hot water and that seemed to help a bit (let them air drop for 24 hours again). If you like the look of this set, by knowing these things in advance or otherwise searching, you'll find a way to get it working for you.
