Review on 🚚 Gabriel Front Load Carrier 34073 by Brandon Hunter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Riding above the track!

I live a half mile off a paved freeway on a hilly and very rough private community road. My Millennium Falcon - 2000 Lincoln Town Car. I converted the rear airbags to Police Interceptor coil springs. When I installed the receiver, I found that it would drag over hills even when going uphill. I've looked into air shocks and coil spacers, but after spotting a Gabriel 43140 luggage rack on a Revain I decided to give them a try. The shocks settled in well in just a few days and I was so pleased with the extra 4 inches of clearance I had in the rear that I ordered this pair of Gabriel 34073 racks for the front. True, the ride is a little stiffer, but that's offset by the luxury of the Lincoln cabin. Overall I found Gabriel to be excellent value for money and I am very happy with my purchases. Incidentally, it is not uncommon for the fenders to be torn off from one or more holes for the front lower shock absorber bolts because the lower bolts were twisted or overtightened. I bought 4 packs of fender nuts from local auto parts for about $5 and fixed the problem easily.

  • Excellent Overall
