Driving my '99 Mercury Grand Marquis was getting really tough.

Great product if you want to make your ride harder. May be too hard for some people. There is now very little body roll in corners. Washboard roads / multiple potholes throw you sideways if you're not careful / hit them too fast. Slightly eliminates the Grand Marquis' "street couch" feel, but improves overall handling, especially when we take the family out for a hike or vacation.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • -

Fits front and rear of 2001 Crown Vic with Handling and Performance package. The rear stabilizer bar didn't hurt. They were initially too stiff, especially in the rear, but I rode for about 2 days with the rear suspension airbags deactivated and now after reactivating them the rear feels great. Now the car is a bit higher, but the handling is much more aggressive, almost like my police interceptor.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

I installed it on Crown Vic 1981 and installed a few more on Grand Marquis 1983, they improved handling on both cars, it also lifts both cars but it's almost imperceptible, both Cars have a factory 5.8l engine which weighs a lot more than the usual 5.0l, maybe that's the main reason why in my case both cars didn't have the front lifted. These dampers have somewhat reduced the usual soft ride of these cars, no need to worry and I prefer the handling improvement as well. I also bought a KYB…

Pros
  • There are few competitors
Cons
  • Not reliable

Riding above the track!

I live a half mile off a paved freeway on a hilly and very rough private community road. My Millennium Falcon - 2000 Lincoln Town Car. I converted the rear airbags to Police Interceptor coil springs. When I installed the receiver, I found that it would drag over hills even when going uphill. I've looked into air shocks and coil spacers, but after spotting a Gabriel 43140 luggage rack on a Revain I decided to give them a try. The shocks settled in well in just a few days and I was so pleased…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Doubtful
