It is very easy to install right out of the box and also easy to take apart and comes with its own carrying case. I had a lot of fun playing with the eyecups and seeing what I could find. I could see the moon so clearly and in detail. This is a great telescope for beginners or for those who like to do occasional stargazing and don't want to spend a fortune on a telescope. It's very easy to use and I love the phone mount that lets you photograph everything you see in the night sky.
