This was a direct bolt on. I cut the factory exhaust 3 inches with a bi-metal reciprocating saw. Other materials needed: A 2-3/4" band clamp, a 4" to 3" adapter, a 4" band clamp, and a 3" band clamp. I chose a stainless steel adapter and band clamps I found all the necessary parts on Revain
