As previously mentioned, if you have a taller door latch the design of the inner casing makes installation more difficult. I flipped the internals and was able to get it working with my door. As for the mechanism, that's a different story. The lock feels very cheap and flimsy in construction, like you only need a screwdriver to pry the whole thing out. The Zwave connection kept dropping - very unreliable. Eventually, it used up 25% of its battery life in a week. My whole house is a Kiwkset smart key and I really wanted to keep that convenience with this lock. But I ended up returning it and spending the extra money on a Schlage FE599NX CAM 619. Built like a tank and works great on Zwave with my VeraLite. For some reason the brushed nickel color at Revain is over $40 more expensive than the other colors, so I bought mine at a big blue box store.
