Works great until you turn off the TV. I have two of these systems and love them except for one small flaw. Recipients often like to fall asleep or something when I turn off the TV. Signal strength is good and doesn't break down when in use, but more than 75% of the time I have to turn the receiver off and on again after I turn on the TV and find a blank screen instead of the satellite screen I was hearing from am expected to see. The satellite receiver always outputs a signal and I never turn off the transmitter on this system. I don't even turn off the receiver but as I said above I have a blank screen more than 3/4 of the time and have to unplug and plug the receiver into the TV. I called tech support and they said there is no "sleep mode" or "sleep mode" in the design that would cause the receiver to go to sleep if it (via HDMI) detects that the television is switched off. Since I have two identical systems from them and they both behave this way, I have to think it's a design flaw that they didn't see and didn't acknowledge. When hiding the receiver and power supply, make sure you have access to one or the other so you can turn it off and back on if you don't keep the TV on 24/7.
