I bought a good fishing from OXO in March. It's early August, I haven't used it for a few months, and then I needed it. After use I put it in the dishwasher, dried it and hung it on the wall with other kitchen utensils. The next day I noticed a couple of small orange round spots on the narrow part of the stainless steel head (closest to the handle). I've tried wiping them with a sponge but they won't come off, that's rust! Why does stainless steel rust? I was an avid fan of OXO products and was pleased with the quality, ease of use and price. However, this is a poorly made kitchen tool, I threw it away.
