We're constantly working on wheels and pulling the fifth wheel single rear diesel truck. Although the load on the rear axle barely reached the allowable limit, there was still too much squatting when the trailer was on the truck. Of greater concern was the entire facility freezing after a poor bridge connection or on rugged concrete roads. Timbrens along with some good Bilstein 4600 series shocks changed our setup. The truck is loaded and upright, does not spring into the rear suspension as far as it will go in the situations described above and the greatly improved rebound damping of the new dampers prevents stalling. It's like I got a new tractor for just a few hundred dollars!
