Review on 🐎 Prairie Horse Supply: Leather and Suede Floggers in Various Styles with Stick Handle and Knobbed Crop by Jun Merritt

Excellent quality and shot control after conditioning.

At first I was surprised by the quality of the product as it seemed to be well made. The whip was rightly advertised as soft, actually too much. The tails were slightly curly, slightly curled and light. They also appeared to be a bit underweight. A few test swings told me that I would have to swing harder than I wanted to get any real effect. This becomes problematic in the case of a long separation. I then decided that maybe the lashes were just a little dry. I treated them with a light mineral oil, a couple ounces for a few uses. I rubbed and swirled the oil and let it sit for about an hour, then wiped off the excess. Doesn't matter! This is exactly the whip I was hoping for. The eyelashes are separated and elastic. The cumulative weight of the lashes is now the actual weight and minimal rocking force is required to get a good hit without too much effort. I no longer feel like swinging a whip when swinging it. This means a more predictable outcome that is easy to moderate and control. The lashes are still soft but create a nice flick and slightly addictive sting that can be easily softened or wild. The handle is long, providing faster whip speed than short-handled whips. The overall length is very good, not too long and not too short. This is a very nice addition to my collection of percussion toys. If you are looking for a quality flogger without spending a lot of money, I recommend it as a first purchase or as a good addition to the collection, especially for beginners who want to play around like other online offerings without a big purchase. You will not be disappointed. .
