This switch is ideal for installing lighting on any car. Let me briefly address the fact that people are complaining about the small LED backlight that is "on all the time". If you know how to connect things properly, they won't stay on when the machine is off. Don't draw current directly from the battery on your hot wire going to the switch. Instead, get the positive power supply from a source that only heats up when the ignition is on. Then when you turn off the key, the little lightbulb that drains people's batteries also goes out.
