This device is used to adapt a pump with a Schrader valve cartridge to a pre-valve on a bicycle tire. It works well and seals the presta valve well to the tire. Just make sure the Schrader chuck it's going into is threaded. They're not that common anymore. It didn't seal very well when used with a quick release lever that jammed the Schrader cartridge. I ended up using a piece of epoxy in the Schrader cartridge and making the connection permanent. Aquad, but it works.
