This product was used to extend the view of a Win7 box to another office 180ft away using CAT6. I like the fact that you can also leave the local display connected and that KVM has built-in keyboard/mouse conflict resolution. This means if someone uses the local setting, the remote person cannot use the keyboard and mouse until the local user stops using them (and vice versa). Pretty much a plug n play solution, requiring no drivers when using a Win7 box.
