Unreliable tool. That means you pay better attention to your readings. One day you'll see the R410 system tell you it's about 180psi on the bottom and overheating is unacceptable. or something like that. These fittings kind of get stuck and don't push down on the valve cores enough to get a reliable reading. I see an odd pressure on my gauge and then start screwing the fitting in and out until the pressure reading finally normalizes to where it should be. That's my first problem. The second problem is that they have to be rebuilt once a month. The cost of a conversion kit is higher than the cost of a new fitting. A third disadvantage of these fittings is damage to the O-rings, which easily leads to earlier than usual failure. All in all a very expensive tool considering it's dead. for 60 home visits or less. And the technician's salary is half what it should be, so this tool is out of budget in terms of not being worth it. All that said, if you are in the part of the country where you can make a good wage and afford it, then low loss faucets are a dream come true when actually working properly.
