The four I received were in a heat sealed bag but they look like they've been used in the field for years. See attached picture. I was in a bind so I had to use one or I would have returned it. A picture says more than 1000 words. I had no problems with the standard fuse link and that's the only reason I gave it one star. One of the nuts was literally broken, it had a crack.
