I've tried so many other tires but the Smoke Front/Dart Rear combo is simply the best for wet driving. Riding on a gravel road or in very dry conditions with very hard surfaces are the only two conditions where this combination doesn't excel. I know we're seeing them on a 26" hardtail because owners keep the 'period correct', but I'm going to put ALL the high performance tires on my MB-1 and pick them anyway. with the Panaracer GK+ Knobby on another bike for dry trails and fire. road driving. Some things stay the same, not because the designer is lazy, but because they're almost perfect. The only improvement I would make would be to officially make them tubeless ready/compatible.
