The base could be wider
I like the design that allows using three threads. I use this with 5500 yard X Large cones. The only downside I see is that the thread cone isn't fully seated on the base. The cones protrude beyond the base, which occasionally allows the line to unwind and get stuck under the cone during use. This breaks the thread. I solve this problem by placing the filament on a hard surface next to the holder. But ideally the base should be large enough to be used at 5500 yards with x-big cones without this workaround.
