Review on 🔩 E-Z LOK 851618-20 Threaded Insert, Zinc, Hex-Flush, 5/16"-18 Internal Threads, 0.789" Length - Pack of 50 units by David Naranjo

These threaded inserts worked quite well except when I tried to put them too close to the knot. The metal in the area of the hex screwdrivers is too thin and they will splinter and won't pull out if you don't have the right size. The one that was too close to the knot had to be left and moved, which I didn't like. They also don't necessarily go directly into the borehole. I've had several that actually shifted to one side or the other, which then didn't line up with the other part that the bolt goes through. I had two separate inserts and four that moved one way or another.
