Review on TPOHH Stainless Cylindrical Double Sided Adhesive by Alec Winsor

When I received these I was glad I ordered them. They are durable and have the weight I would expect from this product. The doorstop is designed to be mounted on a wooden, tiled or cement floor. I installed it on the ground for my exterior patio doors that open, so I needed a higher stop. The first one I attempted to mount, I drilled a hole so the shaft of the mounting shaft was flush with the ground, much like you would with a product called "Red Head". The head of the external screw was above the concrete surface but did not engage the threads for the stop. I figured I would need a different mounting screw, but I managed to get the mounting screw out and reinstall it, then attach the stopper to the mounting screw. The reason for this seems to be that the internal thread or plate is countersunk in the fence so the screw needs to be adjusted higher. There are several ways a manufacturer can fix this. By inserting the plate into the plug flush with the bottom, by placing a shoulder on the screw and shank so that it is above the mounting surface, or by placing a small guide or chart to help the hole just up to this extent to drill the surface. Another solution is a longer screw. It would also be nice if I needed a 5/16 masonry drill bit. I can't say anything about the parquet flooring.
