How to press the latch to remove the latch mechanism.
Just like OEM, easy to replace if you're a dodgy tree mechanic. Just remember to turn the locking mechanism CLOCKWISE when removing it from the old unit. I've found that by lifting the lid and sliding the screw end of the lever on a (removed) old pair of glasses, you can press the release button to free it to rotate.
