This is my third robot vacuum and the third time it's really adorable. I had two high quality Roomba vacuums and replaced them after about a year. After the second, I started getting serious about vacuum cleaners, and this one has continued to catch on. I bit the bullet and told him to watch. After the first run, I immediately noticed that it is much better. Setup was pretty easy, although it took longer to connect to my network, but it was mainly my fault because the network was blocked. This leads to the only issue I have with the vacuum cleaner, the app needs to connect to a server in China. I block most foreign servers on my network, so I had to make some changes to the firewall to get it working properly. However, most people will not have connection problems. The machine itself is a bit bigger than my old Roombas, but not HUGE. It fits in the same place as the old vacuum cleaner, so everything is fine. The vacuum cleaner collects everything! With the old vacuums I had, we had to turn them on daily to keep up with pet hair (3 dogs and a cat) and dust from a 30 year old house. With that, I could easily run it just a few times a week and the floors would still be clean. Can't comment on carpets as we only have hardwood floors but I'm sure it will work just as well. One of the features that I like is the remote control function. I was putting a table together last week and there were some pieces of styrofoam on the floor. Decided to play with the remote control. I was able to move the vacuum into place and sweep everything with no problem. I haven't used the swipe function yet either, but I will soon. The trash can is big enough that I don't have to change it every time. it works. Overall this is by far the best robot vacuum I have ever owned and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for one.
