I bought this item and it didn't work. Primarily the motion detection is the problem. I quickly received a replacement light. It has good brightness and was easy to install. However, the replacement they sent was the same as the original. It turns on but will not shut off. I got an email telling me that the motion detection is very sensitive and that there is no way to reduce the sensitivity. I am going to try blocking the sensor with a metal shield to see if this will help. However, if you don't have the ability to modify the placement of this light, I DO NOT advise buying it. You will be disappointed unless you use a light switch to turn it off and on. And, that defeats the purpose of buying a motion sensor light. I gave it a One star rating only because I didn't have the ability to give it Zero Stars, which is what it really earned.
