Skip the boat to get Mylar bags from the 'famous brand' guys before the frenzy set in and I only had stone jars to store, so I decided to try these guys to spruce up my sturdy shelf pantry. They're about a liter in size but can hold quite a lot of freeze-dried food, coffee, pasta, etc! Used a flat iron to seal them, they stand up well and seal well, the oxygen scavengers felt very warm and everything worked as you can see overnight as the oxygen scavengers did their job. Some dry foods that were a bit spicier didn't puncture the bags at all. They are very easy to use for all beginner cooks! Will definitely buy other sizes before they run out!
